Author Mindy Johnson has been a key figure in chronicling the role of women in animation and film, very much on display in some of her popular books including Ink & Paint – The Women of Walt Disney’s Animation and the nonfiction picture book companion Pencils, Pens & Brushes: A Great Girls’ Guide to Disney Animation. She's also a composer, public speaker, creative force, and teaches at the famed CalArts On this episode of Notably Disney Mindy talks about the development behind Ink & Paint, as well as several other endeavors.
